Mononoke - S01

The Medicine Seller is a wandering occultist who roams feudal Japan, hunting evil spirits known as "mononoke." But he doesn’t destroy them outright-to exorcise them with his sword, he must first uncover their Form, Truth, and Reason. This forces him into dangerous investigations, probing the spirit’s nature before he can even fight it. His path brings him to a quiet inn where Shino, a pregnant woman, has taken shelter. The owner grudgingly lets her stay in the only available room, but it’s soon clear the room is haunted by the deadly Zashiki Warashi, a group of malevolent mononoke. Guided by his instincts, the Medicine Seller begins piecing together the spirits’ secrets-before they claim another victim.
