Hikaru Amatsuga's peaceful life shatters when he saves Alma, a sentient mechanical arm pleading for help. Alma bonds with his jacket, dragging Hikaru into the hidden world of these living weapons, which typically merge with their users' bodies. Hunted and on the run, he’s caught by Aki Murasame, a twin-armed agent of ARMS, an organization that safeguards mechanical arms from exploitation. The ruthless Kagami Group, which sees the arms as disposable tools, wants Alma back. ARMS dismisses Hikaru as unfit to wield a mechanical arm, assigning Aki as his protector. But when Jun Kagami brutally rips away Aki’s arms, leaving her to die, Hikaru refuses to give up. In a desperate moment, his latent power awakens, allowing him to defeat Kagami. Now officially part of ARMS, Hikaru vows to uncover the secrets behind the mechanical arms and defend those he’s come to care for.
