Kikaijima is a massive floating island hidden behind a gravity barrier, sealed off since the last global war. Now a lawless wasteland, it’s littered with abandoned superweapons-giant war robots from a lost era of military excess. When scientists discover the island’s unstable reactors are on the verge of exploding, threatening to wipe out the world in days, the Japanese government has no choice but to reactivate Kaiser, the most fearsome robot ever built. As the towering machine launches toward Kikaijima, a brutal clash of metal and fire begins-its mission: crush the rogue machines and stop the island’s destruction before time runs out.
