Maria the Virgin Witch - S01

Maria is a strong-willed young witch living with her two familiars in medieval France during the Hundred Years' War with England. As the conflict tears through the land, harming the innocent, she grows tired of the bloodshed and starts using her magic to try and stop the fighting, hoping to bring peace. But her repeated interference catches the attention of the heavens, and the archangel Michael is sent to stop her from disrupting human affairs. He confronts Maria and forbids her from using her powers, declaring that her magic will vanish if she ever loses her virginity. Despite being branded a heretic, Maria refuses to obey Michael and keeps interfering in the war. Yet as the Church schemes to strip her of her power and end her meddling for good, her efforts to bring peace may soon be over.
