Fifteen years into the war between humans and demons, the Hero grows impatient with their slow progress and leaves his allies behind, charging ahead to the Demon Queen’s castle. When he arrives, he’s stunned to find the queen is not only breathtakingly beautiful but also asks for his help. Suspicious, he refuses, accusing the demons of destroying the Southern Nations with their war. The Demon Queen counters, pointing out that the conflict has united humanity and even brought them wealth-backing her words with proof. She warns that if the war ends, the Central Nations would stop sending aid to the South, dooming countless people to starvation. But she proposes a solution: with the Hero’s help, they could end the war while bringing hope to both the Southern Nations and the world. Persuaded at last, the Hero joins his former enemy in her mission. Swearing to stand together no matter the hardships, they embark on a journey back to the human world.
