Magical Girl Raising Project - S01

In N-City, many girls play the popular online role-playing game "Magical Girl Raising Project," wishing they could become real magical girls. For a lucky few like Koyuki Himekawa, that wish comes true when she’s chosen to transform into her in-game character, Snow White. Along with other selected players, Koyuki uses her newfound powers to help people-until they all receive a chilling update from the game’s admins. To thin their ranks, the girls must compete to collect "Magical Candies" by performing heroic deeds. Each week, the one with the fewest candies loses her powers. But when the first eliminated player suffers a tragic fate in the real world, the others learn the horrifying cost of failure. As more contestants are forced out and the rules grow increasingly cruel, the girls uncover the truth: what began as a game has become a brutal battle for their lives.
