Let's Go Karaoke! - S01

Middle schooler Satomi Oka should be celebrating his choir group’s second-place finish in a national competition, but instead, he sees it as a personal failure. With graduation looming, his time as choir leader is almost over, leaving him stuck in his own doubts. Then Kyouji Narita, a slick-talking gangster, shows up with an unusual request: he wants Satomi to teach him how to sing. Every year, Kyouji and his crew enter a karaoke contest where the loser gets a tattoo designed by their boss-something he’s desperate to avoid. He needs Satomi’s help to pick the perfect song for his voice. Though hesitant, Satomi pushes aside his worries and agrees to coach Kyouji. But whether this odd pair can overcome their struggles-or crash and burn-is still up in the air.
