Les Misérables: Little Girl Cosette - S01
レ・ミゼラブル 少女コゼット , Les Miserables: Shoujo Cosette
In 19th-century France, Fantine, a single mother fighting to survive, entrusts her three-year-old daughter Cosette to the Thernadiers, a couple she barely knows. But instead of care, Cosette faces cruelty and is forced into hard labor, clinging only to the hope of reuniting with her mother. One evening, while running an errand for the Thernadiers, Cosette meets a kind stranger, Jean Valjean. After speaking with her, he recognizes her as the very person he has longed to help and takes her away from her abusive guardians. Together, they escape to a nearby town, where Cosette begins a peaceful new life under Jean’s protection. Inspired by her rescue, Cosette vows to use her freedom to aid others. She dreams of healing her country, determined to prevent anyone else from enduring the suffering she faced. Though the scars of the French Revolution still haunt France, this hopeful young woman refuses to give up-she will strive until poverty and despair are no more.
