Kokkoku: Moment by Moment - S01

Juri Yukawa’s hopes of moving out of her parents’ house are crushed after she apparently fails 19 job interviews in a single day. Stuck living with her overworked mother Nobuko, her NEET brother Tsubasa, her unemployed father Takafumi, and her single-mother sister Sanae, the family’s only shot at raising a decent adult rests on her young nephew Makoto. But things go from bad to worse when Makoto and Tsubasa are suddenly kidnapped by a shadowy group demanding a ransom. With just 30 minutes to deliver five million yen, Juri’s grandfather shares a dangerous secret with her and Takafumi: a mystical stone that, when fed with blood, transports them to "Stasis," a frozen world where time stands still for everyone except them. Their rescue attempt takes a grim turn when they’re attacked by strangers who can also move freely in Stasis. Just as despair sets in, a monstrous giant called the Herald emerges from the chaos-its purpose as mysterious as the timeless world itself.
