Kasumi Haruno is a fourth grader who arrives in Kasumi Town to say goodbye to her zoologist parents as they leave for Africa to conduct research. She’ll be staying at the large Kasumi family mansion, nestled in the heart of the town’s forest. As she steps through the mansion’s gate, an eerie feeling lingers in the woods around her. Inside, she’s greeted by talking appliances-apparently, the Kasumi family are "Henamon," a type of youkai. Kasumi never imagined she’d live with a household of supernatural beings. In exchange for staying there, she takes on chores like cooking, laundry, and cleaning. Surrounded by these strange new companions, what kind of life awaits Kasumi now?
