Kamichu!

Yurie is a typical middle school girl living in the 1980s-until she suddenly discovers she has become a Kami, a Shinto god. When she tells her best friend Mitsue, their classmate Mitsuri sees an opportunity to use Yurie’s newfound divinity to save her family’s struggling shrine. Now known as "Kamichu," Yurie has to balance her divine responsibilities with school life and her feelings for her crush, Kenji, all while Mitsuri schemes to replace the shrine’s old god, Yashima, with her.
