Kakushigoto - S01

Kakushi Gotou is a moderately successful manga artist whose work is known for its crude humor. When his daughter Hime was born, he decided to hide his profession from her, fearing she would be disappointed if she ever discovered it. His anxiety drives him to absurd lengths to keep his secret. Though a single father, he does everything he can-from pretending to be an office worker every day to rehearsing emergency scenarios in case Hime stumbles upon his workplace. "Kakushigoto" follows the quiet life of a father and daughter, with Kakushi desperately trying to maintain the lie. But as the saying goes, no secret stays hidden forever. Eventually, Hime will have to face the truth behind the life she always assumed was normal.
