Jungle King Taa-chan - S01

Ta-chan is the self-proclaimed king of the jungle. After being abandoned in the savanna as a child, he was raised by a chimpanzee named Etekichi. He has a beloved wife, Jane, a former top New York model whose appearance has... seen better days. Together with his disciple Pedro and Ryo, a master of Chinese martial arts, Ta-chan fights poachers to protect the animals. The anime adapts the manga of the same name, starting as a comedic parody of Tarzan. The first few episodes are lighthearted, but the tone shifts to a more serious story as the series progresses.
