Izetta: The Last Witch - S01

In 1939, Germania invaded a neighboring nation, plunging Europe into a brutal war. As the conflict raged, Germania turned its attention to the vulnerable alpine country of Elystadt. With a vastly stronger military and a string of early victories, Germania seemed poised to crush Elystadt without resistance. The situation grows even direr when Germanian troops capture Princess Ortfiné "Finé" Fredericka von Eylstadt as she travels to a critical meeting with Britannia. Meanwhile, a separate Germanian transport mission goes wrong, allowing Izetta, the last surviving witch, to escape. Recognizing Finé from their shared past, Izetta uses her magic to free the princess from her captors. Now reunited, Izetta vows to defend Elystadt from Germania. With the last witch on their side, the small nation dares to hope it can stand against the imperialist war machine.
