Isekai Cheat Magician - S01

Taichi Nishimura is an ordinary high school student, and his childhood friend Rin Azuma is just like any other girl their age. But their routine morning walk to school takes a bizarre turn when a bright light swallows them up, dropping them into a strange fantasy world teeming with magic and monsters. Before they can even process their surroundings, a wild beast attacks them. Luckily, a passing group of adventurers rescues them and warns the pair that wandering defenseless in this world is dangerous-monster attacks have been on the rise. They recommend Taichi and Rin visit the Guild to test their magical potential and officially register as adventurers. But the test yields shocking results: both possess power far beyond anything seen before. In an instant, they go from average teenagers to the most overpowered mages in the world. As Taichi and Rin struggle to understand their newfound abilities and adjust to their unfamiliar surroundings, they search for answers-why were they brought here, and is there a way home? Yet, even as they focus on their goal, something unseen stirs in the darkness, threatening to upend everything.
