Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut

The first human astronaut was a vampire girl. After World War II, the world split between two superpowers: the Federal Republic of Zirnitra in the East and the United Kingdom of Arnack in the West. Both nations shifted their rivalry to space, racing to dominate its development. In 1960, Gergiev, the Republic's leader, unveils Project Mechtat (Dream)-a manned spaceflight program that would mark humanity's first voyage beyond Earth. Lev Leps, a backup astronaut candidate, is assigned a top-secret mission: overseeing the "Nosferatu Project," an experiment using vampires as test subjects before human flights. His task is to train and monitor Irina Luminesk, a vampire girl chosen for the program. Despite the political tensions and personal egos dividing their nations, Lev and Irina form a real bond as they strive together toward the stars.
