Inazuma Eleven: Ares

"Ares" follows an alternate version of events after the first season of "Inazuma Eleven," where Raimon Eleven wins the Football Frontier but the alien invasion from the second season never happens. With Japanese soccer now seen as weak on the global stage, the Raimon Eleven disbands, and its players scatter to different teams nationwide to improve Japan's soccer strength. Sponsorships have also become crucial for youth teams, as they keep clubs from folding and allow them to compete in matches. The story centers on Asuto Inamori and his team, Inakuni Raimon, made up of players from the remote Inakunijima Island. To keep their club alive, they take over as Raimon Junior High's soccer team, replacing the original Raimon Eleven. As underdogs, they enter the annual Football Frontier youth tournament, fighting to prove themselves.
