Tsukasa Atsumi is an ordinary office worker who lives a quiet, lonely life. One night, as he heads home from work, a demon attacks him, only to be rescued by a woman dressed like a ninja. She introduces herself as Shizuri Ideura and explains that demons hunt people like Tsukasa because they carry "Samurai Blood" in their veins-and her kind has secretly protected them for generations. When Shizuri warns him that the attacks will only get worse, Tsukasa strikes a deal: she can stay at his place if she keeps him safe. But he soon learns that outside her ninja duties, Shizuri is a total homebody who spends her free time glued to video games. As they share their days together, Tsukasa starts to enjoy her company more than he expected-and it seems she might feel the same way.
