Hybrid Child - S01

The talented craftsman Kuroda designed artificial beings known as Hybrid Children-neither machines nor dolls, but reflections of the love they receive. Though capable of human emotions and independent thought, they are not truly human and depend on love to thrive. Kotarou Izumi, the young heir of a noble family, stirs disapproval when he brings home an abandoned Hybrid Child he found in the trash. His family repeatedly tries to discard Hazuki-the name Kotarou gives the Hybrid Child-whenever he isn’t looking. Yet despite these struggles, their bond deepens, and their love grows stronger. Ten years later, however, a grim truth emerges: a Hybrid Child may not live forever. "Hybrid Child" weaves together three short love stories, each exploring the ties between these artificial beings and their owners.
