House of Five Leaves - S01

Masanosuke "Masa" Akitsu is a wandering ronin in Japan’s peaceful Edo period. Though he’s a skilled swordsman, his timid nature has earned him a reputation as "unreliable," and he’s frequently fired by his employers, leaving him to doubt his worth as a samurai. At his lowest, Masa is approached by Yaichi, a laid-back man in pink who impulsively hires him as a bodyguard. What Masa doesn’t realize is that the job isn’t so simple-he’s pulled into the shady dealings of Yaichi’s group. As he gets deeper into the world of the gang called the Five Leaves, Masa wrestles with his own morals, yet his growing curiosity pushes him to learn more about these outlaws and the secrets they hide.
