In 2027, Kyoto has transformed into a city of advanced technology. Among its residents are two classmates: Naomi Katagaki, a shy and introverted boy, and Ruri Ichigyou, a distant girl known for her blunt demeanor. Though Naomi shares Ruri’s love for books, her cold attitude keeps him at a distance. During a walk one day, Naomi sees a strange crimson aurora flash across the sky before disappearing. Soon after, he meets a three-legged crow and a hooded figure who claims to be Naomi himself from ten years in the future. The future Naomi warns of a tragedy that will befall Ruri shortly after they begin dating-and insists he’s returned to prevent it. Skeptical but unsettled, present-day Naomi decides to follow his future self’s advice and grows closer to Ruri, hoping to alter fate. Can he really change what’s to come?
