Heaven Official's Blessing - S01

Most gods in the heavenly realm steer clear of Xie Lian, the forgotten god, but the Heavenly Emperor Jun Wu still treats him kindly. Xie Lian’s luck is otherwise abysmal, and to make matters worse, the other gods suspect his recent companion might be the infamous Ghost King, Hua Cheng. Despite the rumors, Xie Lian cherishes Hua Cheng’s promise: the next time they meet, Hua Cheng will show his true face. Jun Wu delivers troubling news-a god’s distress signal has been spotted in Ghost City, the thriving heart of the ghost realm, ruled solely by Hua Cheng. Unfazed by the prospect of entering his domain, Xie Lian sneaks into the city to find the missing god. There, the real Hua Cheng awaits. He’s the most dreaded figure in all three realms, yet his usual arrogance melts away in Xie Lian’s presence. Without explanation, he lavishes his power and resources to lighten the weight of Xie Lian’s endlessly unlucky past.
