In a world where people are just a few inches tall, young women Hakumei and Mikochi share a home nestled inside a tree. Hakumei is a spirited, tomboyish carpenter, while Mikochi is a gentle and refined tailor. Though they’re very different, they complement each other perfectly, enjoying their peaceful lives in the woods together. Their days are filled with work, little adventures, and trips to Tsumiki Marketplace by the sea. Along the way, they meet all sorts of friends-from talking animals like Iwashi the Weasel to other tiny people, such as the singer Konju and the inventor Sen. "Hakumei to Mikochi" is a cozy glimpse into the everyday lives of its two leads as they explore their miniature, fairy-tale-like world.
