Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation - S01

In the year 2115, the island once known as Japan is now called the "17th Far East Imperial City Management District." The people traded some of their comforts for the promise of a peaceful, unchanging life. They believed tomorrow would be no different from today. But no one foresaw the disaster about to strike their society. "Degradation"-a rare disease that turns the human body into a pile of sand-was spreading quietly across the world. Tohru Kazasumi, an ordinary student, finds himself caught in a conflict between his world and the parallel universe of "Frontier S (Stratos)." Now, he must face an alternate version of himself in battle. As their fates intertwine, the question remains: can either world ever find peace?
