Grimoire of Zero - S01

In a world torn by endless conflict between humans and witches, the "beastfallen" are cursed individuals-part human, part animal-feared and rejected by both sides for their monstrous strength and appearance. Many turn to mercenary work, surviving by hunting witches. But when a cheerful witch named Zero hires a beastfallen warrior-simply calling him "Mercenary"-to guard her, their lives take an unexpected turn. Joined by Albus, a young magician, they set out to find the Grimoire of Zero, a dangerous spell book that could bring disaster if misused. As they travel together, Mercenary's rough exterior gives way to surprising kindness, and he begins to show empathy for humans and witches alike. Through their journey, these unlikely companions slowly grow closer, defying the hatred that divides their world.
