Green Days

Yi-rang is on the brink of abandoning her dream of being an athlete, but her fear of losing pushes her to fake a collapse during a relay race. Around the same time, she meets Soo-min, a transfer student from Seoul, and Cheol-soo, a boy who dreams of becoming a scientist. Though all three are still figuring themselves out, they share the restless energy of youth and its endless possibilities. This heartfelt animation, directed by Han Hye-jin and Ahn Jae-hoon, follows Yi-rang as she rekindles her dreams with the help of kind people around her. Set in the '80s and '90s, the film captures the nostalgia of a bygone era-an old umbrella, a railroad cutting through town-small details that stir memories of a time now gone. It’s a quiet reflection on the dreams we’ve let slip away in today’s fast-paced, capital-driven world.
