Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again - S01
じいさんばあさん若返る , Ojiisan to Obaasan ga Wakagaetta Hanashi, A Story About a Grandpa and Grandma Who Returned Back to Their Youth
Shouzou Saitou and his wife, Ine, have been married for almost sixty years. Though they never grew rich or got to take a honeymoon, their love has stayed strong. They pass their days quietly caring for their apple orchard and enjoying visits from their close-knit family. One day, while tending to the apple tree they planted on their wedding day-now split in two from a typhoon-they spot a golden apple dangling from a branch. They take it home and share it, only to wake up the next morning to find themselves young again. In their rejuvenated bodies, Shouzou and Ine experience life in ways they never could before: joining a sports festival, playing video games, and rediscovering the thrill of their early romance. As they relive those youthful memories, their renewed love sparks something in the younger generation of their family too.
