God Eater - S01

Humanity is on the brink of extinction, hunted by the "Aragami," monstrous creatures that devour everything in their path. With conventional weapons useless against them, the only hope lies in "Oracle Cell" weapons-tools made from the same substance as the Aragami themselves. But the Aragami quickly evolve, rendering even these weapons ineffective. As a last resort, the remaining human governments decide to destroy a nuclear reactor to eliminate the Aragami threatening Eurasia. Three "God Eaters" from the Fenrir Far East Branch-the organization holding Japan’s last defenses-join the soldiers assigned to this mission. Armed with advanced weapons called God Arcs, they can supposedly pierce Aragami hides and destroy their cores. These warriors might be humanity’s final chance to stop the Aragami and prevent total annihilation.
