Girls Band Cry - S01

Nina Iseri, a 17-year-old girl, just wants to figure out her place in the world-starting with getting into a good university. But life in Tokyo isn’t making it easy. On her first day in the city, she gets lost, overlooked, and even locked out of her new apartment. Then, by chance, she meets Momoka Kawaragi, a guitarist she’s admired for years. After an impromptu street performance together, Momoka suggests they form a band. Nina isn’t sure at first, but as they recruit more members-Subaru Awa, the striking drummer; Tomo Ebizuka, the reserved keyboardist; and Rupa, the sharp-witted bassist-she finds herself growing more determined. Together, the five girls navigate the struggles of the music scene and their own personal doubts, but their love for music keeps them pushing forward.
