Fullmetal Alchemist - S01

Edward Elric is a gifted young alchemist who has already endured great loss by the age of twelve. After he and his brother Alphonse attempt the forbidden act of human transmutation to bring their mother back to life, the ritual goes horribly wrong-Edward loses his brother and two of his limbs. Using his alchemy skills, he manages to bind Alphonse’s soul to a suit of armor, preserving his life in a hollow, metal form. A year later, Edward, now a state alchemist with the title "Fullmetal Alchemist," sets out on a journey with Alphonse to find the Philosopher’s Stone. This legendary artifact is said to amplify an alchemist’s power, allowing them to bypass the fundamental rule of alchemy-that all things must be exchanged for something of equal value. Edward hopes the stone will help him and Alphonse reclaim their original bodies. But as they delve deeper into their search, they uncover unsettling truths about the stone and become entangled in a conflict far darker than they ever anticipated.
