Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - S01
鋼の錬金術師 FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST , Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist (2009),FMA, FMAB
After a disastrous alchemy experiment in the Elric household, brothers Edward and Alphonse find themselves in a shattered reality. Defying the taboo against human transmutation, they tried to resurrect their late mother-only to pay a terrible price. Alphonse’s body vanished entirely, while Edward lost a leg and then gave up an arm to bind his brother’s soul to a towering suit of armor. Their neighbor Pinako Rockbell and her granddaughter Winry come to their aid. Winry, a skilled bio-mechanical engineer, crafts advanced prosthetic limbs for Edward using "automail," a durable metal often used in robotics and armor. Years later, the brothers embark on a journey to reclaim their original bodies, seeking the legendary Philosopher’s Stone-a fabled artifact that could bypass alchemy’s strict rules of Equivalent Exchange. As Edward earns fame as the "Fullmetal" alchemist, their mission pulls them into a hidden conspiracy with world-shaking consequences.
