Full Moon - S01
満月をさがして , Full Moon o Sagashite, Mangetsu wo Sagashite, Searching for the Full Moon
Two years ago, Mitsuki Kouyama's close friend Eichi Sakurai moved to America before she could tell him how she felt. Though they can't communicate, they made a promise to chase their dreams: Mitsuki wants to be a singer, and Eichi an astronomer. She hopes her music will one day reach him, shining as brightly as the full moon. But there's a problem-Mitsuki has throat cancer, making her voice weak and singing painful. Her grandmother, who despises music, pressures her to have surgery, but Mitsuki refuses, fearing she might lose her voice completely. Then one day, two shinigami-Meroko Yui and Takuto Kira-appear and reveal she has only a year left to live. Determined to make the most of her time, Mitsuki resolves to become a professional singer with their help. "Full Moon wo Sagashite" tells the heartfelt story of Mitsuki and her shinigami companions as they learn the true meaning of singing-and of life itself.
