Freedom - S01

In 2041, Earth was ravaged by the "Great Cataclysm"-a disaster triggered when the Freeport Space Station crashed into the planet, leaving the environment in ruins. As survivors fought over dwindling resources, humanity eventually wiped itself out. Meanwhile, life endured on a moon base originally meant as a waypoint for Mars colonization. Over time, it grew into a thriving city called "The City of Eden," now seen as the key to establishing a permanent lunar colony. By 2267, Takeru is a citizen of Eden who competes in "Tube Races," dangerous hovercraft battles between gangs. After causing an accident in one of these races, he’s sentenced to community service outside the city. While completing his punishment, Takeru discovers remnants that could reveal the real history behind Earth’s fall and Eden’s origins.
