ēlDLIVE - S01

Chuuta Kokonose is an orphan living with his aunt. He has always heard a mysterious voice in his head, but otherwise, his life has been ordinary-until a bizarre creature follows him home and suddenly transports him to a world full of fantastical beings. He finds himself at a space police station, where Rein Brickke, the chief of the Solar System Department, informs him that a computer has selected him as a potential recruit. Misuzu Sonokata, a girl from Chuuta's school with a sweet face but a sharp temper, happens to be one of Rein's subordinates. She doubts Chuuta has what it takes for the job. Though initially stunned by the situation, Chuuta decides to take the police aptitude test, partly because the voice in his head encourages him and partly to prove Misuzu wrong.
