Ef: A Tale Of Memories & Melodies - S01

On Christmas Eve, Hiro Hirono meets Miyako Miyamura, a carefree girl who "borrows" his bike to chase a thief. When Hiro finds his bike wrecked and Miyako passed out, they end up spending Christmas Eve together. Later, they realize they attend the same high school, and their unexpected connection deepens. This stirs jealousy in Hiro's childhood friend Kei Shindou, whose earnest outlook attracts Kyosuke Tsutsumi, a flirtatious photographer hunting for the perfect image. Meanwhile, Renji Asou, a boy who fantasizes about being a heroic knight, meets Kei's shy twin sister, Chihiro Shindou, at a deserted train station. She prefers solitude and books, but the two bond and decide to collaborate on a novel. When Renji learns Chihiro's secret, his romantic ideals face a harsh reality. As their lives intertwine, two enigmatic adults subtly guide these young people through a bittersweet story of love, rejection, acceptance, and the weight of memories.
