Dusk Beyond the End of the World - S01
永久のユウグレ , Towa no Yugure
High school student Akira Himegami wakes from a long cryogenic sleep to a world he barely recognizes. The city is in ruins, ravaged by war, and society is now controlled by an organization called OWEL. Even marriage has changed, replaced by a new system called "Elsie." As Akira tries to make sense of this unfamiliar future, he meets Yuugure-a girl who looks strikingly like his girlfriend, Towasa. To his surprise, Yuugure smiles and asks him, "Akira... please marry me." Though bewildered by her sudden proposal, Akira agrees to travel with her, clinging to the hope that the real Towasa might still be out there somewhere. Along the way, they witness how love has transformed in this new era and begin to question the true nature of their own connection.
