Dororo - S01
どろろ , Dororo to Hyakkimaru
The ruthless samurai lord Daigo Kagemitsu watches his land wither, desperate enough for power to betray Buddha and bargain with demons. Twelve demons answer, granting his wish by revitalizing his domain-but their aid comes with a terrible cost. When his first son is born, the child has no limbs, no eyes, no ears, no nose, and not even skin-yet somehow, he survives. Abandoned in a river, the infant is rescued by a medicine man who equips him with prosthetics and weapons, enabling him to endure and fight. Though blind, deaf, and numb, the boy grows up determined to destroy the demons who claimed him as their price. With each demon slain, he reclaims a piece of his stolen body. For years, he drifts alone-until he crosses paths with Dororo, an orphan boy who refuses to leave his side. Together, these outcasts struggle to survive in a world overrun by demons, fighting not just for their lives but for their very humanity.
