Digimon Tamers - S01

Ten-year-old Takato Matsuda spends his days playing the Digimon card game with friends, lost in the excitement of its world. One morning, he discovers a strange blue card in his deck and runs it through his card reader-unaware that this simple act will turn the device into a D-Ark Digivice. When it scans his sketches of Guilmon, a Digimon he dreamed up himself, the Digivice produces a Digi-Egg that soon hatches into a living, breathing version of his creation. At first, Takato is overjoyed to have a real Digimon, but reality sets in fast: Guilmon is wild, energetic, and needs constant attention. To make things worse, Ruki Makino, a skilled tamer with her own Digimon partner, Renamon, sees Guilmon as just another target to defeat and absorb for power. Fortunately, Takato isn’t alone-he teams up with his classmate Li Jianliang and his sharp-tongued Digimon, Terriermon, to navigate the challenges of being a real tamer. As dangerous enemies emerge, Takato realizes he must deepen his connection with Guilmon to stand a chance at defending both their world and the Digital World from looming threats.
