D.Gray-man - S01
The grief of losing someone can drive people to desperate lengths-even wishing to bring them back to life. The mysterious Millennium Earl preys on this despair, using the summoned souls of the dead to create his mechanical monsters, the "Akuma." Once a soul is bound to an Akuma, it is lost forever unless freed by the Anti-Akuma weapon, "Innocence." After three years of training under General Cross, Allen Walker joins the Black Order, a group dedicated to fighting Akuma and the Millennium Earl, to become an Exorcist. Armed with an Innocence-infused arm and a cursed eye that reveals the tormented souls inside Akuma, Allen and his comrades must thwart the Earl’s grand scheme-one that threatens to bring ruin to the world.
