DEMON LORD 2099 - S01

Five hundred years ago, the fantasy world of Alneath was ravaged by war between immortal magic-wielders and mortals armed with enchanted relics. The conflict ended when the mortal hero Gram struck down the Demon Lord Veltol Velvet Velsvolt. Now, in 2099, the world has changed. Alneath and the technologically advanced Earth merged in an event called Fantasion. Immortals have been nearly wiped out, while mortals wield magic through artificial implants known as Familia. As the new world struggles to rebuild, Machina Solege-Veltol’s former vassal-revives him in Shinjuku, a city of magic and machines rising from the ruins. But Veltol’s powers are diminished, and his old ally Marcus has turned against him. To restore his strength and reputation, Veltol takes advice from Takahashi, Machina’s hacker friend, and embarks on an unlikely path: becoming a live streamer. His sharp wit and hilariously bad gaming skills win him an audience, but reclaiming his former glory won’t be easy. To rule again, Veltol must unravel Shinjuku’s hidden truths and stop Marcus’ sinister schemes.
