Deca-Dence - S01

In the distant future, humanity is threatened by the sudden emergence of creatures called Gadoll. The last survivors live in the Tank, a lower district of the massive mobile fortress Deca-Dence. While the Gears-warriors from the upper levels-fight on the front lines as part of the Power, most Tankers stay behind, supporting the war effort by processing Gadoll meat and maintaining defenses. Natsume, a young Tanker with a prosthetic arm, dreams of joining the battle rather than staying in the rear. Despite her determination, her application to the Power goes unanswered while her orphanage peers receive their work assignments. For now, she takes a job cleaning armor under Kaburagi, a gruff and indifferent repair team leader who hides more than he shows. Though he’s initially dismissive of her idealism, he soon sees in her the potential to disrupt the world’s rigid order. As her reluctant mentor, Kaburagi trains Natsume for a singular role-one that could make her a pivotal anomaly in the system.
