Day Break Illusion - S01

Akari Taiyou lives with her aunt, uncle, and their daughter Fuyuna while training to become a fortune teller. After losing her mother as a child, all she has left are her mother’s tarot cards and the desire to follow her path. One night, Akari dreams of a plant monster attacking her-only to see a more powerful version of herself defeat it. She wakes up horrified to find the monster was really Fuyuna. Strangely, Akari and her family soon forget Fuyuna ever existed. After another near-fatal encounter with a similar creature, three magical girls-Ginka Shirokane, Seira Hoshikawa, and Luna Tsukuyomi-save her. They reveal they belong to Sefiro Fiore, an organization that uses "Elemental Tarot" powers to battle monstrous beings called "Daemonia." Akari learns she is also a magical girl, inheriting her mother’s power tied to The Sun card. But she soon discovers Daemonia are possessed humans, forcing her to choose between saving what remains of their humanity or erasing them entirely. As Akari struggles with her duty to protect the world from Daemonia, the bonds within Sefiro Fiore-and her own team-begin to fray under the weight of external threats and internal conflicts.
