Coppelion - S01

On the surface, Ibara Naruse and her friends Aoi Fukasaku and Taeko Nomura seem like ordinary, carefree high school students. But the streets they walk, their path, and everything around them are far from normal. As they press on, the three girls venture deeper into a desolate, uninhabitable version of Tokyo-a city ruined by a nuclear disaster two decades ago. Ibara, Aoi, and Taeko are members of Dispatch 3rd Special Force Coppelion, the Health Care team, backed by the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) and Colonel Onihei Mishima. Their mission is to search the eerie, silent streets for survivors. Evacuating the last remaining people via JGSDF helicopters is just another day for them. Yet as they continue their work, the girls begin to wonder about their own humanity-especially how they can survive in Tokyo without any protective gear at all.
