Cardia Beckford’s memories are unclear, but she remembers her father, Isaac, and the lonely home where she lives-shunned by the townspeople as a monster. Her body holds a deadly secret: the "Horologium," an eternal heart embedded in her chest by her father. It grants infinite power, but its poison means even her touch is fatal. In London, many covet the Horologium, including the terrorist group Twilight-rumored to have ties to Isaac. When the British military takes Cardia prisoner to seize its power, she’s rescued by the thief Arsène Lupin, who vows to "steal her heart." Traveling with Lupin and his allies, Cardia sets out to uncover the truth about Isaac, Twilight, her lost memories, and the mysterious heart that defines her fate.
