Clannad: The Motion Picture
Tomoya Okazaki is a disaffected high school delinquent with no real goals, drifting through life without purpose. His strained relationship with his alcoholic father, who withdrew after a family tragedy, left him emotionally distant. But when he crosses paths with Nagisa Furukawa, a peculiar girl who reaches out to him, Tomoya brushes her off at first, treating it as nothing important. Over time, however, he keeps running into her, and despite his usual indifference, he slowly lets his guard down and befriends her. When Tomoya learns Nagisa’s dream is to restart the school’s Drama Club, he finds himself drawn into her world, stepping away from his usual detachment to help her. What begins as a simple friendship soon grows into something deeper and more meaningful as they face life’s struggles together. Through hardships and personal battles, Tomoya and Nagisa begin to confront their own scars and find strength in each other.
