CITY THE ANIMATION - S01

High school daydreaming is a normal part of youth, but after graduation, reality sets in-bills pile up, and higher education looms. Yet Midori Nagumo never outgrew her whimsical ways, even in college, preferring fun over responsibility. Her best friend, Niikura, is the opposite: focused and determined to become a photographer after graduation. Despite their differences, Niikura keeps getting dragged into Midori’s antics, where they cross paths with Wako Izumi, a stubborn but scatterbrained classmate who snaps photos of anything she finds amusing. The three end up sharing an apartment in City, a place where the unusual happens as often as the ordinary, and together they stumble through the chaos of young adulthood.
