A string of murders called the "New Generation Madness" has gripped Shibuya, becoming a major topic of conversation among locals. But Takumi Nishijou, a high school otaku plagued by delusions and a constant sense of being watched, pays no attention to the real-world chaos. Preferring to lose himself in online games and anime, Takumi's detached existence is shattered when an anonymous user named Shogun sends him a disturbing image-a man impaled against a wall. After calming down at an internet café, he witnesses the same gruesome scene unfold in real life, complete with a bloodstained pink-haired girl screaming his name. Struggling to separate delusion from reality, Takumi grows increasingly paranoid as he’s dragged into the "New Gen" killings, convinced the murderer is targeting him personally.
