Burning Kabaddi - S01

Tatsuya Yoigoshi, a former star soccer player, now spends his days as a first-year student at Noukin High School, having turned his back on sports altogether. Instead, he dreams of becoming a popular internet livestreamer. One day, Souma Azemichi, a first-year member of the school’s kabaddi team, barges into his stream, determined to recruit him. With little interest but no better plans, Yoigoshi follows Souma to the gym, where he watches upperclassmen Kyouhei Misumi and Shinji Date locked in a fierce kabaddi match. Though he mocks the sport’s rules at first, the raw energy of the game leaves him speechless. After some convincing-and a bit of pressure-Yoigoshi agrees to settle the matter the only way that makes sense: a no-holds-barred kabaddi match, a sport played with nothing but bare hands and sheer will.
