For centuries, humans and Beastmen-a species with the genetic "Beast Factor" that allows them to shift forms-have been locked in conflict. Driven into hiding, Beastmen found refuge in Anima City, a place where they could live free from human persecution. During the city’s 10th-anniversary festival, Michiru Kagemori, a human who inexplicably transformed into a tanuki, realizes Anima City isn’t the utopia she imagined. After an explosion rocks the square, she crosses paths with Shirou Ogami, a nearly invincible wolf and dedicated protector of Beastmen. As they track down the bombers, they uncover that Michiru is no ordinary Beastman. Together, they delve into her strange past and extraordinary abilities, raising a critical question: could she be the key to bridging the gap between humans and Beastmen?
