Big Windup!

Ren Mihashi was the ace pitcher on his middle school baseball team, but his weak performance led to constant losses. His teammates bullied him so much that they eventually stopped trying to win, leaving Mihashi with shattered confidence by graduation. Hoping to leave baseball behind, he enrolls in a high school in another prefecture. But when he arrives at Nishiura High, he’s pulled into joining their newly formed team as the starting pitcher. At first reluctant, Mihashi slowly realizes this is a place where he can be himself. With support from the team-especially catcher Takaya Abe-he begins to believe in his skills again. Recognizing Mihashi’s potential, Abe takes it upon himself to help the hesitant pitcher grow into a true ace.
